This page explains how chickenroadgamemoney.uk.com uses cookies and similar storage, and how to switch them off.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page views — that you dismissed a notice, or that your visit originally came from a particular referral link. Local storage works similarly but is not sent back to the server with every request.

3. Why we bother asking
Consent notices are irritating, and we kept ours to one line and two buttons. Asking is still the right call: measurement that runs whether you agree or not is not measurement anyone chose. Your answer is respected for as long as your browser keeps it.
4. How to control cookies
You can accept, refuse or delete cookies at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary category may break parts of the site; blocking analytics or affiliate cookies will not affect the content you can read.

Private or incognito windows discard cookies when closed, which is a quick way to browse without persistent identifiers.

6. What happens if you refuse
Declining optional cookies costs you nothing. Every guide, table and FAQ stays fully readable, the navigation works, and outbound links still function. The only difference is that we lose the aggregate picture of which sections readers actually use, which slows down decisions about what to expand or rewrite.
